Maintenance
For cleaning, it is recommended to use a soft cloth dampened with water, avoiding ammonia-based cleaners, solvents, or abrasive products. Rattan is a living material and, as such, may undergo slight changes in colour and size over time. During its seasoning phase, it reacts to varying environmental conditions and humidity levels. Rattan finished with natural substances is sensitive to light and may oxidise, causing visible colour variations between exposed and covered areas.
