NEW OPENING
In the heart of the Altstadt, amidst the vibrant courtyards of the Stadthöfe — a tapestry of red clinker façades and green-glazed bricks, art galleries, boutiques, and cafés — stands the Baxter Design Gallery Hamburg: a space that unfolds gradually, like a serene pause within the city’s dynamic rhythm.
Overlooking the Bleichenfleet canal, the gallery is a monobrand space that combines Nordic light and the essentiality of Hamburg architecture with Baxter’s warm, tactile sophistication. A continuous dialogue between water, matter, and design.
The spacious double-height area extends onto a pedestrian plaza at the Stadthöfe, where natural light pours through large windows, creating a suspended, contemplative atmosphere. On the opposite side, three large openings on the canal mirror the movement of the water and draw the city’s vibrant energy inside.
The two skilfully furnished levels tell a story of a balance between rigour and sensuality: textured wall surfaces contrast with the light resin floor, while the luminous walls accommodate warm, natural tones, reminiscent of a contemporary art gallery.
An intimate and refined setting to experience Baxter in the heart of Hamburg, a city of water, light, and timeless architecture.
